Pre-Consumer Recycled Content of Wilsonart® Flooring

Wilsonart Flooring is comprised of ¼ inch high-density fiberboard (HDF) sandwiched between two layers of Wilsonart® Laminate. The wood particles that are employed in the high-density fiberboard are obtained from several sources;

  1. sawdust from saw mills,
  2. wood chips from log processing, and
  3. planar shavings from wood processing, to name a few.

In all cases, the wood particles have been salvaged and are considered pre-consumer recycled. The HDF is certified by the Composite Panel Association to be an Environmentally Preferred Product. The recycled wood content of the HDF is 100%.

  • Professional Studio - 70% recycled content by weight
  • Wilsonart Red Label Flooring - 70% recycled content by weight
  • Wilsonart Estate Plus Flooring - 70% recycled content by weight
  • Wilsonart Classic Flooring - 78% recycled content by weight
