Antimicrobial

To help protect the surface from today's more frequent ond stringent cleaning and disinfection protocols, Antimicrobial Protection is built into Wilsonart® HD® designs and available by request on Premium and Standard designs, to protect the surface by inhibiting the growth of stain and odor-causing bacteria, mold, and mildew. Essentially, it keeps the surface looking—and smelling—better, longer.

  • Silver Ion Technology
    Wilsonart® HPL with Antimicrobial Protection incorporates a silver ion additive, which is registered by the EPA and helps protect the surface by inhibiting the growth of stain- and odor-causing bacteria, mold, and mildew. The silver ion technology used does not include nano silver particles. 
  • Same Great Aesthetic
    Antimicrobial Protection does not change the appearance of the product.
  • Active 24/7/365
    Antimicrobial Protection is built in and will not wash away, so it is active 24/7/365. It works in combination with proper cleaning and disinfection protocols to keep surfaces cleaner.
